A Parent gets refunded for any cancellations done up to 24 hours before a booking. Any cancellations done within 24 hours, the parent gets charged for 2 hours worth of work. Any Booking that was less than 2 hours, parents still get charged for 1 hour. Parents need to cancel the sitter on the app for any cancellations. If a parent doesn't cancel on the app, then they don't get refunded and charged for the full amount.
A Parent needs to cancel within 30 minutes after booking for all bookings booked within 24 hours or will be charged the full amount. For any booking in 30 minutes or less, one needs to cancel within 5 minutes or will be charged the full amount.
When a sitter cancels, the parent gets notified and they can chooseanother sitter from their previous list. However, every time they cancel they aren't charged it goes on their profile which parents can see.. If a parent booked through emergency booking then the job gets canceled and the parent gets notified.
